In leading the evolution of Hamilton Campaigns into a “next generation” integrated research and decision firm, Dave works to ensure that every client has the information they need to make informed decisions. Operational excellence and strategic focus are at the core of his actionable recommendations to clients.

Dave’s positive attitude, team-oriented philosophy, and his honest answers to difficult questions led him to be named a “Rising Star” and a “Mover and Shaker” by Campaigns & Elections Magazine, as well as “Pollster of the Year” by the American Association of Political Consultants.

From ad campaigns for companies seeking to protect their brand to political campaigns for the state house to the White House, Dave has dedicated his considerable energy to identifying, studying and solving problems, always building on the tradition of inquisitive excellence championed by the company’s founder, Bill Hamilton.

Dave’s belief in changing society through public action began in 1988, when he was elected to the Vestal, New York Board of Education. Today, Dave helps train the next generation of political leaders as an adjunct professor in the University of Florida’s graduate program in campaign management. As a member of the executive committee of the AAPC, Dave works to promote ethics and set standards for the profession of political consulting.

Dave’s analysis and commentary have been featured on the broadcasts of Fox News, “Nightline,” National Public Radio, and have been cited by many of the nation’s leading newspapers.

Dave's formal education includes a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Communications from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is married to his college sweetheart, Robin, and together they are working to be good parents to their daughter, Skyler.
