Dale Emmons
Dale Emmons owner of Emmons & Company, Inc. has more than twenty-five years of hands-on political experience. He has been involved in successful campaign efforts up and down the ballot. He thoroughly understands the elective process. This knowledge has proven to be a significant advantage to his clients. 1998 has been a remarkable year for Emmons. In the May primary Election, his firm managed twenty-one races. They won seventeen of them. In the November General Election, his firm had a rare perfect record. He managed fifteen races, all winners! This political slam dunk included an unexpected come from behind victory in the race for Lexington Mayor Pam Miller. Prior to Emmons joining the campaign, Mayor Miller ran second in the May Primary. Published polls showed Miller trailing throughout the Fall race. She eventually won by 773 votes out of more than 70,000 votes cast. Emmons also helped the Democrats maintain control of the Kentucky State Senate by guiding Ed Worley to a win in a seat previously held by a Republican. This is the first time a Kentucky Democrat has done this in ten years. They also helped a friend achieve a life-long dream of winning a local office. His client won every precinct and ousted a twenty-five year incumbent tax assessor. Emmons & Company also represented Kent Clark (aka Superman), Madison County Judge Executive in his re-election. The campaign logo design earned them their first AAPC Pollie Award in January. Emmons was elected to the AAPC Board of Directors.
