AAPC Announces New Democratic Board Member


AAPC Inducts Charlie Black and Stan Greenberg into its Hall of Fame



WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 11, 2010) The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) is proud to announce the 2010 inductees into the AAPC Hall of fame. Charlie Black and Stan Greenberg will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame at this year's Pollie Award and Conference to be held in March 25-27 at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona.

Charlie Black is best known as one of America's foremost Republican political strategists. He is Chairman of Prime Policy Group and most recently served as the senior political advisor to Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. Mr. Black has also served as senior advisor to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and was a principal public spokesman for President Bush in the 1992 presidential campaign.

Stanley B. Greenberg is CEO of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner. Greenberg provides strategic advice and research for leaders, companies, campaigns, and NGOs trying to advance their issues in tumultuous times. Greenberg has served as pollster to President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, South African Presidents Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Bolivian President Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada, and Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer.

Induction into the AAPC Hall of Fame is the highest honor that the working members of the profession c bestow upon a colleague. Every year the AAPC selects two people whose career and activities can serve as inspirations to us all, especially students and young professionals. This year the AAPC Board of Directors has chosen Charlie Black and Stan Greenberg as its 2010 inductees into the AAPC Hall of Fame.
